Five years ago, I wrote a blog about Signs.
It was a tough time in my life. I was caught up in work stress and logistics with the kids and the signs were telling me to stop and reflect on what was really important.
Those signs were scary ones. Things that made me pause and reflect on how precious life is.
Fast-forward to current day.
The past few years have been the most stressful, and at the same time, the most life-changing I've ever experienced.
And I've been seeing signs again.
This time in the form of strings of numbers.
Fitbit tells me I ran for 22 minutes and burned 222 calories.
I look at the clock on my phone and it's 5:55 p.m.
My blog analytics show me strings of the number three.
I'll be out on my walk and happen to look at a random mailbox and it's house number 4444.
I even checked out at Aldi last week and my total bill was $8.88!
I've had this happen before a few times, scattered throughout the day or the week.
But lately, it's been happening multiple times a day, and seemingly everywhere I look.
If you Google this phenomenon, you'll get 250 million hits about "angel numbers."
It says that seeing strings of the same number are signs from the universe and people who love you but are no longer with us.
2's tell me to enjoy the moment and trust that I'm on the right path.
3's represent that I'm manifesting growth and change.
4's are a recognition of my effort and hugs from above (love this one!)
5's are telling me that big changes are on the horizon.
And that string of 8's that I saw on my Aldi receipt? Abundance of money and love are in my future!
Bring it!
They make me smile now every time I see them.
I've also heard it said that numbers don't lie.
So I'm going to trust them. And lean into this next chapter of my life, knowing that everything is going to be okay.
Better than okay in fact.
I've always loved numbers. But now I appreciate them in a whole different way.
Life really is all about the numbers.
Are you paying attention to them?
